Director AR Murugadoss's latest outing Sarkar overcame several obstacles before hitting the screens on November 6. Starring Vijay, Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the film released in 3,400 screens across the globe.

Hours after the film graced the theatres, active piracy website TamilRockers leaked the full movie online, that too in HD print.

Ardent fans of Vijay and Murugadoss are enraged by this move and are complaining to authorities to take down the pirated links from TamilRockers.

Apart from Vijay's Sarkar, TamilRockers has also leaked Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan's recently-released film Thugs of Hindostan in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The big-budget flick released worldwide on November 8.

Last month, Dhanush's Vada Chennai fell prey to online piracy within hours of the film's release.

TamilRockers has a wide network and the site is known to leak most of the films within a few hours of their release. Vishal, president of Tamil Nadu Film Producer's Council, has set up an anti-piracy cell to tackle online piracy.

Even though the team managed to block most of the pirated websites, they could not take down TamilRockers. Now, Vishal and team have asked theatre owners in Tamil Nadu to install CCTV cameras to curb piracy.

The biggest movie of the decade, 2.0, directed by Shankar has finally hit the theatres today. The sci-fi film, which is made on a huge budget of over Rs 550 crore has Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson playing the lead roles.

Much to the shock of fans, TamilRockers, an active piracy website, has leaked the entire movie in HD print, within few hours of its release. It is said that the makers had deployed a separate team to monitor online piracy.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that producers of 2.0 had approached the Madras High Court with a list of websites which had illegally uploaded the pirated version of the film. There has been no official confirmation on the same.

Earlier, the anti-piracy team headed by actor Vishal had submitted a list of websites that leaks newly released films on their websites to the state government. The government had blocked most of these websites. However, they couldn't bring down TamilRockers.
